Maverick Robbins

Retreat Host — Big Island, Hawaii

Raised in Hawaii, Maverick has built a life around adventure, travel and food. He is a skydiving instructor and coach with 1,500+ jumps, a certified 200-hour yoga instructor, and has traveled to more than 40 countries.

He studied culinary arts at the Gordon Ramsay Academy in London and brings inspiration from his travels into the kitchen. Maverick is excited to share those influences — and a taste of Hawaii — with AdZENtures guests.

Laura S.

Retreat Host — Coastal Maine

Originally from Maine, Laura left home at 18 for what was meant to be a gap year. That quickly turned into an adventure, travelling through Asia and Australia before eventually finding her way to Scotland.

Almost 12 years later, Scotland is home. Laura fell in love with the outdoors and built a career in guiding. Today she owns an outdoor paddle sports company in Scotland, where she gets to spend her time on the water and share her love of Scotland and its wild landscapes with people from all over the world.

Now she’s excited to head back to where it all began and return to her roots in Maine. Having spent years showing people what makes Scotland so special, she can’t wait to share the same passion for Maine — a place she believes has the whole package: incredible scenery, brilliant people, amazing food and, of course, plenty of adventure. For Laura, there’s something pretty special about coming full circle and getting to show people the place she grew up in through the eyes of an outdoor guide.

Terra Nicolle

Massage Therapist & CEU Instructor

Terra graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Masters in Osteopathic Science, specializing in pediatrics, concussion therapy, scoliosis, hypermobility, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Since 2010, she has been teaching yoga teacher trainings and educating manual therapists internationally in maternal, postpartum, and pediatric care, empowering therapists to create effective treatment plans.

Dr. Juli Berwald

Coral Scientist — Rebel Reef, Honduras

Juli Berwald, Ph.D. is an ocean scientist and science writer based in Austin, Texas. In addition to The Shell Seeker, just released in July 2026, she is author of Life on the Rocks: Building a Future for Coral Reefs, which was a finalist for the L.A. Times Book Prize, and Spineless: The Science of Jellyfish and the Art of Growing a Backbone, which won an Indie Choice Award.

Juli has contributed to magazines including National Geographic, Texas Monthly, and The New York Times, among others. She co-founded and is the President of the non-profit Tela Coral, which is working to protect and understand some of the rarest coral in the Caribbean.

Antal Börcsök

Dive Host — Rebel Reef, Honduras

Antal is Honduras-born, Hungarian by family, and the reason anybody dives Tela at all. Locals talked about rocas offshore — rocks. Newly certified, he and Alejandra went to look, and the rocks turned out to be very much alive. He spent the next few years getting coral scientists to come and see what was in his front yard.

He founded Tela Marine — the dive shop, the aquarium and the education centre — and co-manages the Marine Protected Area. His PADI instructors take small groups out to Mushroom Mound, Canyon and Rotunda. Nobody knows this water better.

Beatrix

Seaweed Guide — Sligo & Donegal, Ireland

Beatrix is a marine biologist specializing in marine ecology, ecotoxicology, invertebrates and seaweeds. With both scientific expertise and entrepreneurial experience, she previously founded and ran her own seaweed company, driven by a deep passion for the ocean and its ecosystems.
