Your Room
Your renovated barn room has its own in-room sink and vanity, a lock on the door, and everything you need for a peaceful mountain stay — except a TV, which is very much on purpose. Games and puzzles are in your room instead.
A note about windows (and how to stay cool): this is a renovated barn stay — there are no windows other than the glass door. Due to Cultural Heritage design rules, we're unable to add windows to these rooms, but they stay cool as long as you follow these guidelines: in the summer months, shut the curtains during the day and open the doors in the evening for fresh air. If you're comfortable, you can sleep with the doors open and the curtains shut for privacy to keep air moving throughout the night.
Finding Your Room
Follow Google Maps to Lepena 15A — and note: there's a neighbor at Lepena 15. We are 15A! A gravel driveway leads up to the house:
- Park at the end of the driveway on the right once you reach the buildings — one designated parking place per reservation. Bringing a second vehicle? It will need to go back to Bovec's public parking.
- Follow the gravel path to the courtyard — you'll see the open communal kitchen.
- Across from the kitchen is your room, Macesen. Go up the wooden stairs and your key will be in the door.
- Please verify you're entering the correct room — look for the Macesen sign on the door.

Your Bathrooms
From the parking area you'll see a brown door at the bottom of the Main House — that's your access to the shared Guesthouse Bathroom. Inside: 3 private toilet rooms, 3 private shower rooms, plus a vanity with 2 sinks. This door is always open — no key needed.
Once You're In
- WiFi: Lepena Barns · password Lepena17*. We have Starlink, but connectivity is limited due to mountain obstructions — any network starting with "Lepena" uses the same password, so connect to whichever signal is strongest.
- There is NO TV at the Ranch. We encourage you to enjoy the peace of nature — bring a book, play a game or work a puzzle from your room, or sit around the fire and enjoy a quiet evening.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited on the entire property. Guests who smoke onsite will be fined €500.
